I have always loved FISH, they are colorful, graceful they come in every size, shape and color. Fish are one of the non abstract subject matters that I really enjoy creating with traditional methods (oil & acrylic – water color and Digital). Started on a new series – Called “Picnic in the Jungle”, these have been greatly influenced by the Avnat Garde Band the RESIDENTS. There will be a total of 10 paintings in this series and each one will be direclty related to a paticular Resident song. This is the first time I have attempted this form of creative expression, my paintings are never pre-planed. I usually start painting and what happens.. happens. I have been wanting to do something related to the RESIDENTS for a long time and this avenue seems to be the best way for me to express this. I have been listening to the RESIDENTS since I was 8, starting in 1977 watching their videos on NIGHTFLIGHT (showed music videos and music based movies late night on weekends).
